Sharia Court of Jakarta Central Receives 21 Young PKL Students from Unismuh Makassar's HES Program.

UNISMUH.AC.ID, JAKARTA - Twenty-one students from the Hukum Ekonomi Syariah (HES) program at the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FAI) of Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar were officially handed over to the Jakarta Central Sharia Court. This is part of a two-month Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) project, set to run from August 1st to September 28th, 2023.

The handover ceremony took place at the Jakarta Central Sharia Court, located at Jl. Rawasari Selatan No. 51, Kelurahan Rawasari, Cempaka Putih Subdistrict.

Dr M Ridwan Fawallang MH, secretary of the HES program at FAI Unismuh Makassar, led the handover ceremony directly and expressed gratitude to the Jakarta Central Sharia Court's chairman and staff for providing this opportunity.

"We hope that the students participating in the PKL project over the next two months will make the most of this opportunity," he stated.

Drs Gunawan MH welcomed the students' presence and hoped they would stay in the court. "Students can learn a lot, both theoretically and practically in court proceedings, which will provide them with valuable experience when the PKL project is completed," he said.

The implementation of this PKL also viewed as an opportunity for students to apply their theoretical knowledge gained during studies. This was also seen as a momentum for students to witness and learn from practice directly in the court.

The handover ceremony was attended by Mursyida SAg, MH, Jakarta Central Sharia Court's vice chairman, Neneng Kurniati, SAg, and Abdul Malik, MH, HES program lecturer at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar.
