Optimize Coursework, HES Students Interview K5 Vendors on Unismuh Campus Grounds

UNIAMUH.AC.ID MAKASSAR – During the 80th graduation ceremony of Unismuh Makassar, an extraordinary event took place, highlighting the university's inclusive policies towards local vendors selling goods on campus grounds.

The 80th graduation ceremony of Unismuh Makassar was held in the Muktamar Unismuh Conference Hall, Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

During the event, several third-year students from the Faculty of Islamic Studies, specifically the Syariah Economic Law (HES) program, namely Hana Tuo, Afifah Irwan, Nur Mahiraini, and Ahmad Wahyu Sardi, were observed conducting serious interviews with K5 vendors selling goods on campus grounds.

This activity was actually part of maximizing the completion of their entrepreneurship coursework within the Syariah Economic Law program.

During the interviews, vendors such as Rahmat, a glasses seller, Abdurrahman, a sock seller, and an ice cream seller, shared their experiences of selling on Unismuh campus grounds.

They expressed their happiness and gratitude for receiving permission to sell without complicated administrative procedures and without any fees from Unismuh.

Rahmat stated that the university's policy made him happy, not only because of the decent profits, but also because the atmosphere created by Unismuh was conducive.

The same sentiment was shared by other vendors who were pleased with the ease of obtaining permission and without difficulty, which made the vendors enthusiastic about participating in such a large event.

This activity was not just a university assignment, but also highlighted the university's supportive policies towards local vendors, creating a positive and vibrant atmosphere in every major event of Unismuh Makassar.
