Dean of FAI Unismuh Makassar Sends Off 40 HES Students for Internship at Religious Courts and Islamic Banks

UNISMUH. AC. ID, MAKASSAR - The Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FAI) at Unismuh Makassar, Dr. Amirah Mawardi, S.Ag., M.Si., released 40 Sharia Economic Law (HES) students to undertake Field Work Practice (PKL) at the Religious Court and Sharia Banks on Monday, August 5, 2024, at the Jl. Sultan Alauddin Campus.

The students will conduct their PKL at the Makassar Religious Court Office, the Sungguminasa Gowa Religious Court, and four Sharia Banks in Makassar, including Bank Syariah Bukopin.

In her opening remarks, Dean of FAI Unismuh, Amirah Mawardi, stated that the PKL activity serves as an implementation of the theories learned during six semesters of classroom lectures.

Furthermore, PKL students are also required to consistently maintain their prayers and uphold the professional ethics of Islamic Law within Religious Court institutions and the Sharia banking sector.

This ensures that the students consistently experience smoothness and success in carrying out their PKL at their respective locations.

Dr. Amirah Mawardi offered advice to the participating students by quoting Surah Al-Isra, Verse 80, which states: "
