Nakhoda FAI Unismuh Makassar's Message at the Graduation Ceremony for Four Programs
UNISMUH.AC.ID, Makassar - Four programs of study (Prodi) from the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FAI) of Muhammadiyah University (Unismuh) Makassar held a graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
The event took place on the 4th floor of the Iqra Tower building at Unismuh Makassar and was led by the Dean of FAI, Unismuh Makassar, Dr. Amirah Mawardi.
A total of 49 students participated in the graduation ceremony, divided as follows: Islamic Education (PAI) with 18 people, Arabic Language (PBA) with 13 people, Guidance and Islamic Education (BKPI) with 4 people, and Sharia Economics (HES) with 15 people.
In her speech, the Dean of FAI, Unismuh Makassar, Dr. Amirah Mawardi, expressed her gratitude and apologized for any mistakes made while serving the students.
"Maintain the reputation of our alma mater and convey greetings of respect to your parents," she said.
Dr. Amirah Mawardi also added, "Be exemplary alumni, bring the reputation of FAI wherever and whenever. Don't forget to invite your family and friends to join FAI again."
"With your success, FAI Unismuh Makassar has also succeeded," she added.
Dr. M. Ilham Muchtar, Deputy Dean I of FAI, in his academic message, reminded that the true test for an alumni is in the community. Therefore, they must be an example in the community, especially as alumni of the Faculty of Islamic Studies.
"As alumni, you are expected to remember the oath of graduation that has been taken, namely to obey the commands of Allah wherever and whenever," he emphasized.
The graduation ceremony was attended by all faculty and program leaders whose students participated in the graduation.
