43 FAI Unismuh Makassar Students Participate in Moot Court, Dean Delivers Four Academic Messages to Alumni
UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR – The Faculty of Islamic Studies (FAI) of Muhammadiyah University (Unismuh) Makassar held a Graduation Ceremony for Students on Monday, January 30, 2023.
The Graduation Ceremony for FAI Unismuh Makassar was attended by Dean of FAI Unismuh Makassar, Dr. Amirah Mawardi, Deputy Dean III, Elly Oschar MPdI, as well as the Heads of Study Programs, including the Head of the Islamic Education Study Program (PAI), the Head of the Arabic Language Education Study Program (PBA), the Head of the Sharia Economics Study Program (HES), and the Head of the Islamic Broadcasting Commission (KPI).
The Graduation Ceremony, which took place in the FAI Unismuh Makassar Auditorium, on the 4th floor of the Iqra Tower, was attended by 43 students, consisting of 22 students from the Islamic Education (PAI) program, 3 students from the Arabic Language Education (PBA) program, 9 students from the Sharia Economics (HES) program, and 9 students from the Islamic Broadcasting Commission (KPI).
In the event, the Dean of FAI Unismuh Makassar delivered a speech to the 43 graduates, in which he conveyed four academic messages to the students who had been graduated.
"I encourage all students who have been declared graduates to always be grateful to Allah SWT for the blessings they have received during their studies until they complete their Bachelor's degree," he said.
He added that the second message is to always be grateful to both parents, guardians, university leaders, and those who have contributed to the educational process until its completion.
"This third message is also a very important message for students, namely not to stop learning. After completing their S1 degree, continue to higher levels, namely S2 or even S3, and beyond, seek knowledge until death," he added.
He explained that for the fourth message, he said that "Things change and pass. The 43 graduates who have been graduated are expected to promote Unismuh and bring in new students to FAI, and of course, to become beneficial alumni in the community.
"After entering the community, don't forget to always promote the university where you studied, and our graduates are also expected to become beneficial alumni in the community," he concluded.
