21 Students from the HES FAI Program at Unismuh Participate in Clinical Practice at the Central Jakarta Religious Court

UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR - Twenty-one students from the Sharia Economics Law (HES) Program at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Muhammadiyah University (Unismuh) Makassar, will participate in an internship program at the Central Jakarta Religious Court. The internship send-off event took place in the Seminar Room on the 4th Floor of the Iqra Tower Building, Unismuh Campus, on Friday, July 28, 2023.

The internship program at the Central Jakarta Religious Court has been approved by Dr. H. Gunawan, M.H., as the Head of the Central Jakarta Religious Court, and will last for 2 months, starting on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Also present at the send-off event were Dr. Amirah Mawardi SAg, MSI, as Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Unismuh, Hasanuddin, SE Sy ME, as Head of the HES Program, and Dr. Ridwan Fawallang SHI MHI, as Secretary of the Program and Chairman of the Committee, along with representatives from the HES lecturers, Siti Walida Mustamin, SPd, MSi.

In his speech, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Amirah Mawardi, stated that the students who will participate in the National Internship Program are selected individuals. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the reputation of the Program, the Faculty, and Unismuh Makassar, as well as providing a good example of character during the internship at the Religious Court.

Ridwan Fawallang, as Secretary of the Program and Chairman of the Committee, gave guidance and advice for the students to make the most of the National Internship Program. He reminded them that they could gain valuable experiences from this activity and the importance of maintaining their behavior while in the capital.

The Sharia Economics Law Program at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Unismuh Makassar, has long been known as a program that prioritizes practical experience for students. The National Internship Program is an integral part of the curriculum, which aims to connect theory with real-world practice.

Andi Muhammad Aidil, SH MH, as the internship supervisor at the Central Jakarta Religious Court, hopes that the National Internship Program will continue to be implemented and even developed to an international level. He emphasized the importance of integrity and ethical work values in implementing the principles of Sharia economics.

"We wish all the students in the Sharia Economics Law Program at Unismuh Makassar success in their National Internship. We hope this experience will lead to success in the future," he concluded.
